    Hi Susan,

    It's a straight type connector (not null modem). For details see page 48 of
    the AOR AR3000A manual. The manual is on the web at
    http://www.aoruk.com/pdf/ar3000am.pdf and page 48 of the manual is page 50
    of the pdf file.
