Hi Janet and Catriona,
Thank you for posting the results. The results mention that the telescopic
whip antenna is being used---can you confirm this please? It would be
interesting to see the results from the discone antenna as well.
If you'd like a challenge, you might like to try to identify which signals
the peaks correspond to, eg radio or TV stations. Listening in on the audio
signals may help here while referring to the Dick Smith list of radio and TV
signal frequencies on the web. Another place to look is the Australian
Communications Authority website, which has a database of registered
transmitters across Australia.
